High P- Low P Procedure:
The presentation or multiple presentations of a task, demand, request, which has been shown to or is described to have a high probability of occurring (high p), immediately prior to the presentation of another task, demand, request which has been shown to or is described to have a low probability of occurring (low p). The procedure may or may not involve the delivery of programmed consequences for either the high or low p task.
Common applied usage: to increase compliance to demands/requests which are in the subjects repertoire, but currently occur at a lower frequency than desired.
